Toronto Amazons supporting the WROAR Ride VI

Thank You! What an amazing group of riders we have supporting our event. You took on the challenge of raising over $100 each knowing that collecting donations in a down economy is difficult, and you braved a very gloomy weather forecast on the morning of the ride... and we think you are wonderful! We were so happy to see familiar faces of returning riders, and excited to meet new riders too. Together we raised over $6,000.00 for the TRCC/MWAR.

Thank you to the clubs who participated in the WROAR Ride this year, we're so thrilled to have you. The Toronto Amazons, who have been supporting WROAR since our first ride, won the club challenge again this year, with some enthusiastic competition from the Motor Maids, and the Toronto Motor Scooter Club too. GRIP, a new women's club from the Guelph area joined us this year too. Thanks to all the clubs and groups who get involved in the WROAR Ride, we greatly appreciate your support.

Thanks to all our Sponsors and Supporters! Without you we could not reward our riders for all their hard work fundraising. Thanks to RTI, Snow City Cycle, Royal Distributing, Tap Moto, Aiden's Mobile Detailing, Moto Limo, Silly Helmet Covers and Stinger Trailer for the great prizes you donated. Thanks to our photographers, Rob MacLennan of MorallyAmbiguous.net and James of WobblyCat Photography for all the great photo memories of the day. Thanks to Impact Canopy for the last-minute loan of some extra tents in case the weather didn't work out as nicely as it did, and for our lovely pink WROAR Canopy. Thanks to SUPERSHOW Events, for booth space to promote our ride at the SUPERSHOW in January and the Spring Motorcycle Show in April, giving us the opportunity to promote the WROAR Ride to the huge numbers of motorcyclists those shows draw is immeasurably valuable to WROAR.

Thank You WROAR Volunteers Thanks, last but not least, to all our hardworking volunteers, women from the TRCC/MWAR and women motorcyclists, all of whom support the WROAR Ride all year round, lending us their time, their vehicles, to help and support our event. The WROAR Ride is a Women's Motorcycle Ride, but both the ride and event are open to all, and men are encouraged to participate! Both the ride and our day-long event are open to all genders, motorcycle, scooter, and trike riders and passengers, soon-to-be-riders, and non-motorcyclists are welcome too! Please come out and support WROAR Ride VII Sunday June 12 2011!
