2006 WROAR NEWS:The Ride is coming up soon! Sunday June 11th is approaching fast, and we're hard at work building another awesome event. We have put together great new entertainment, a line up of DJ's for the entire afternoon. We have more great raffle prizes in our raffle, and some of our exhibitors are having raffles too. Stinger Trailer will be offering free water to our riders from their booth. We've got some great prizes for top fundraisers, so keep collecting those pledges! Come out and support the WROAR Ride Sunday June 11th, and help us reach our goal of 100 women riders and $10,000.00 in pedges raised to support the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre / Multicultural Women Against Rape.The WROAR Ride booth in Hall 2 at the Toronto Spring Motorcycle Show April 8 & 9 2006 looked great. Women riders picked up the latest WROAR Ride flyer, and met the WROAR Riders staffing the booth. They got to see Alex's wonderful pink VTR250! The 2006 WROAR Ride enjoyed a very successful launch at the SUPERSHOW this January 6 . 7 . 8 . 2006 at the Toronto International Centre. Alex's VTR250 made a lovely addition to our booth, and thanks to Micheal Proteau, the bike's painter; the pink paint job was very eye catching. WROAR 2005 NEWS:The first WROAR Ride was a great success! We have raised over $ 8,500.00. Thanks to the fabulous fundraising efforts of the WROAR Riders! Over 40 women riders braved the hot and muggy weather to participate the first ever WROAR Ride. Thank you all for your fantastic enthusiasm. The Second WROAR Ride will be held on Sunday June 11th 2006.The FIRST WROAR RIDEWhat an awesome day! On June 12th 2005 the first ever WROAR Ride raised over $ 8,500.00. Thanks to the fabulous fundraising efforts of the 40 women riders braved the hot and muggy weather to participate the first ever WROAR Ride. Thank you all for your fantastic enthusiasm. We would like to thank Honda and the many motorcyclists came out to enjoy the Honda demo rides - what a great chance to test-ride the new offerings from Honda! The WROAR Ride made quite an impression on the streets of Toronto, and we returned from our ride hot, but just thrilled to have shared a ride with so many other women motorcyclists. The afternoon's entertainment was great, and it was nice to share a meal after the ride too. Most of the riders won something in the raffle, and all of us made new women riding chums. We would like to thank all of our sponsors for making the first ever WROAR Ride a possibilty, and all of our WROAR Riders for making it a huge success!See the Photos: 2005 WROAR Ride
