2008 WROAR NEWS:The Honda Demo-Rides will be at the WROAR Ride again this year, offering the 2008 CBR125R (which now comes as a street bike or race bike prepared for a new racing series in 2008! For more information on the racing series visit: www.honda.ca/MCPE/_Global/files/PressRelease_HONDA_CBR125R_SERIES_EN.pdf) The street version will be available for testing at the WROAR Ride. We may also have Honda scooters available for our WROAR event. Our fabulous raffle offers some great prizes, including an Advanced (or Intermediate) Rider training course from the Rider Training Institute and a trackday from Motoress, at the Motoress Women's Trackday taking place at the Rider Development Track at Mosport on Sunday July 6th 2008 visit Motoress.com for more trackday info. 2007 WROAR NEWS:WROAR III enjoyed wonderful weather and a great new venue. Honda helped us host a great event, with demo rides for both off-road and street bikes. We were one of the few events to gain access to the new and much sought after CBR125RR's; a hoot to ride. While we had about the same attendance numbers as previous years, although slightly fewer registered riders. We did have some 'firsts' this year; we had our first male passenger (after offering great prizes which went unclaimed the past two years!) and our first ride out of the city.See the WROAR III Photos
MAY 2007: New Venue and New Route for 2007. WROAR III will be hosted by Honda Canada, at 715 Milner Ave. in Scarborough. Our ride will enjoy a more rural and scenic route this year, enjoying some of the twisty roads north east of Toronto.

We announced our new venue for 2007, at Honda Canada on Milner in Scarborough! Riders were excited to hear about our new venue, and are looking forward to a much more scenic ride route too. Photos of the WROAR Booth at the Toronto Spring Motorcycle Show are on our events page.

The WROAR Ride's distinctive pink booth was graced again by Alex's WROAR Theme painted 250 Honda. Lots of people stopped by to ask about the ride and admire the bike. And we always like to meet our riders at the show!

- top - WROAR 2005 NEWS:The first WROAR Ride was a great success! We have raised over $ 8,500.00. Thanks to the fabulous fundraising efforts of the WROAR Riders! Over 40 women riders braved the hot and muggy weather to participate the first ever WROAR Ride. Thank you all for your fantastic enthusiasm. The Second WROAR Ride will be held on Sunday June 11th 2006.The FIRST WROAR RIDEWhat an awesome day! On June 12th 2005 the first ever WROAR Ride raised over $ 8,500.00. Thanks to the fabulous fundraising efforts of the 40 women riders braved the hot and muggy weather to participate the first ever WROAR Ride. Thank you all for your fantastic enthusiasm. We would like to thank Honda and the many motorcyclists came out to enjoy the Honda demo rides - what a great chance to test-ride the new offerings from Honda! The WROAR Ride made quite an impression on the streets of Toronto, and we returned from our ride hot, but just thrilled to have shared a ride with so many other women motorcyclists. The afternoon's entertainment was great, and it was nice to share a meal after the ride too. Most of the riders won something in the raffle, and all of us made new women riding chums. We would like to thank all of our sponsors for making the first ever WROAR Ride a possibilty, and all of our WROAR Riders for making it a huge success!See the Photos: 2005 WROAR Ride
